![]() ![]() More than two decades since its release, there’s still no other game out there quite like it. Pretty much everything about Sacrifice’s universe is weird, especially its inhabitants, but that’s exactly what makes the game so charming and memorable. The campaign does a fantastic job of gradually introducing you to a unique universe filled with gods, wizards, and monsters. Your initial minions are weak, but you’ll eventually gain the ability to summon powerful creatures that can make short work of your enemies.Įven though it can be played in multiplayer, Sacrifice’s biggest selling point is the single-player campaign. Mana is used to cast spells while Souls are used to summon creatures. Resource management is a thing, but there are only two types of resources to worry about – Mana and Souls. The game uses a third-person perspective, which is almost unheard of for an RTS, and features essentially no base-building. Sacrifice is a one-of-a-kind RTS that focuses primarily on combat and micromanagement. ![]()
